Honoring the participants in the Tolerance Festival 2020

Colonel Salah Omar Al-Kharji, Director of the Strategy and Performance Development Department at Umm Al Quwain Police, at the headquarters of Umm Al Quwain Educational Zone, honored the students of Umm Al Quwain Educational District schools who won the “Generations of Tolerance” competition, which was held on the occasion of the National Tolerance Festival 2020 with the participation of more than 120 contestants from various educational levels. In the presence of Mr. Saeed Ali bin Hussein, Director of Umm Al Quwain Educational Zone and a number of employees, the technical participations were received from the students remotely, and evaluated by 3 teachers of visual arts, and 6 winners were selected and handed over valuable gifts provided by the Umm Al Quwain Police General Command. It is worth noting that the activities of the National Festival for Tolerance 2020 in Umm Al Quwain included other activities, such as the “UAE, the country of tolerance” lecture for Arab and foreign communities, which was presented remotely in both Arabic and English in cooperation with the community clubs in the emirate, in addition to a remote religious lecture entitled “Tolerance is a way of life” presented to the institution’s guests Punitive and Correctional Services in Umm al-Quwain in cooperation with the office of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in Umm al-Quwain.
