Periodic audit and follow-up team meeting
Based on the national efforts exerted to address and contain the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure that the related precautionary and preventive measures are applied, His Excellency the Head of the Local Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain directed the intensification of inspection campaigns by the concerned team, and as a result the (Audit and Follow-up Team) and during Its last periodic meeting, chaired by His Excellency the Deputy Head of the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team, and in the presence of the Director of the Umm Al Quwain Center (National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management), reviewed the intensive inspection plan to be implemented in the coming days for the various regions of the emirate, and locations where gatherings abounded were identified in order to intensify the awareness-raising process and implement The Violations Law to limit the increase in the number of injuries in the emirate, and warnings were actually issued to a number of gatherings in farms and ranches, and those concerned in wedding halls were stressed to adhere to the instructions accurately and not to tolerate them, as well as with regard to gatherings in homes during weddings or funerals. It was also agreed on a daily reporting mechanism that will be followed to ensure accurate follow-up, which aims, God willing, to control this pandemic and provide support to the various sectors of the country concerned.
